Happy New Year! Thank you for reading and supporting Composium. It’s been a while since I wrote here, so let me catch you up on a few projects I’ve been doing.
“Eendracht” short film
In November 2022, I spent a month at sea as part of my studies (you can read more about the experience here). I filmed the entire experience and published the short film based on my adventure. The soundtrack used in the film is from my composition “52 Hertz”.

“Zharyq” composition
I also published a new piece I wrote for Kazakh national instruments in March — it’s out on all streaming platforms!
“Build Your Media” course launch
I began Composium in 2020 from scratch. Since then, I've done 130+ interviews with renowned Hollywood composers, industry giants (Sony, NVIDIA), stellar startups (Musiio, Mandolin, Vampr), VCs (Techstars, APEX Capital), and some of the best universities in the world (Harvard, Yale, Cornell, USC, and more).
Two years ago, Composium also began its Ambassador Program, helping college students build connections in the entertainment industry and learn how to write insightful articles.
I launched the “Build Your Media” course to share my knowledge on how to do everything from planning out the strategy for your media and reaching out to preparing for interviews and writing high-quality articles. I’m currently helping different students launch their media in the industries they care about.
Other projects
There are a couple of exciting projects that I’ve been working on and are set to go live in 2024. I can’t announce them just yet, so make sure to sign up for updates :)
2023 has been a year full of growth. Here’s to 2024 being the best year yet — onwards and upwards!
